If you have used Windows Task Manager and checked the Process or Details list for any kind of MySQL server (mysql.exe / mysqld.exe), you should check if Windows Firewall (or any other kind of firewall) has blocked MySQL from starting. Check if the username you are logged in with does not have Administrator privileges or access to changing the files where you have stored the MySQL binaries. Make sure that the files in your MySQL folder are not write protected (Read-Only).

Just to reverse the perspective, what to do if any or all of the issues above exist:

  • log in as Administrator to check your settings
  • turn off any kind of local firewall on your computer
  • remove any Read-Only attributes from the MySQL files
  • run MySQL or Launcher as Administrator

Hello, thanks for all the hard work, in deadmines all npc are friendly, do I have to set it as Heroic to avoid that?
 
Is there any possible way to get the dungeon finder to start with a lower amount of people? Default is 5 but I only have 2 people playing on my server (LAN)

Just wanted to say what an amazing repack and you guys must keep up the great work.
Just one thing i did notice is when i try and tame a 2nd pet as a hunter they disappear once I log off and back on.
Sorry if it was mentioned already.
