So far version 6 is really nice. My wife and I started playing it yesterday.
I guess my big question is has version 7 been released to the VIP's yet? That's the one i really want.
Also are there character migration tools available? So we can transfer from 6 to 7 without losing things.
And is 7 a complete standalone server like 6 is? One that doesn't require installing mysql or any other type of prerequisite programs?

v7.0 is already released but seem to have a few bugs, lot of fixes will come from v7.1 which i'm sure lot of us waiting for and yes they did post something about transferring your account from one database to another.

Extract the _Server folder to your C drive.
Extract the Release folder inside of the _Server folder.
Extract the dbc, maps, mmaps, and vmaps inside the Release folder.
Use Heidi.sql to edit the auth/Realmlist table, Put in your server name, internet ip or host name, Lan address of server.
127.0.0.1 for an IP if you play on the same computer you run the server on.
