Improvements:

In MoP version 7.1, we have two major themes:
1. Playerbots.
2. Creature stat scaling.


1 - Playerbots:

New Features & Commands
- Spell dump command - Export spell names for the playerbot rotation tool
- Bot zone activation - Admins can set bot zones to active even without real players present (DB: playerbot_zone.enable)
- Display bot targets - Other players can now see what bots are targeting
- Instance health barrier - Configurable HP threshold for bots in instances (PlayerBots.InstanceHpThreshold)
- Spell damage modifiers - New DB table to set per-spell damage taken modifiers for bots
- Bot actions system - Updated with weights and activity templates

Battleground & PvP
- Completely reworked bot objective management for all battlegrounds: Warsong Gulch, Twin Peaks, Arathi Basin, Battle for
Gilneas, Deepwind Gorge, Eye of the Storm, Temple of Kotmogu, Silvershard Mines, Alterac Valley.
* In other words: Objective management is the internal system that tells bots which BG objective to go for - e.g. capture a flag, defend a base, etc. Before this update, bots had simpler logic. Now each BG has a refactored system where bots:
1) Evaluate multiple possible objectives and pick the best one
2) Know if they're carrying an objective (flag/cart/orb) and act accordingly
3) Know if they're capturing something (capping a base) and don't get interrupted

- New arena targeting behavior - smarter target selection
- PvP bots gear based on player's highest arena rating
- Bots prioritize orb carriers in Temple of Kotmogu
- Bots no longer mount while carrying Deepwind Gorge cart
- Bots only accept real player group invites by default

Movement Overhaul
- Major: Bot movement now uses actual player movement packets (creates a much more realistic and authentic experience when playerbots are moving around)
- Reworked in-combat and while-casting movement
- Monk Roll and Flying Serpent Kick movement support
- Bots can jump to adjust cast facing
- Fixed bots falling through ground layers
- Fixed fake movement stuttering
- Bots stay in dueling zone and avoid leaving
- Fix pathing issues in Temple of the Jade Serpent

Bug Fixes
- Fixed PvP bots not equipping PvP weapons
- Fixed bots spamming Legacy of the White Tiger
- Fixed trinket selection logic
- Fixed bots getting stuck on Twin Peaks/Battle for Gilneas
- Fixed Deepwind Gorge cart score tracking
- Fixed bots moving to {0,0,0} in Throne of Thunder
- Fixed fake movement during teleportation
- Dueling bots no longer duel below 95% HP or move when stunned

Technical
- Refactored BotObjective classes to use smart pointers
- Standardized bot target selection across all modes

Admin/Developer Tools (not player-facing)
- Gear commands updated to support params and selected target

2 - Creature stat scaling:
- Ever since our previous releases, we have had many bug-reports about creatures dealing too much/little damage. Both in dungeons and across the open world while leveling. Finally, we are here to bring a heavy update on this topic.

Player-visible effect: many NPCs, guards, questgivers, trainers, and BG/raid script-spawned creatures now show their correct weapons. Previously weaponless or partially-armed NPCs are correctly equipped.

  • The team is continuously extremely motivated in delivering a blizzlike Mists of Pandaria experience, and we have a strong focus on this. Therefore, you can expect a bunch of updates across core and database. This will be anything between quests/leveling, dungeons and raids.

- Added equipment to around 526 creature entries. This includes gear, and missing weapons, etc.
Player-visible effect: many NPCs, guards, questgivers, trainers, and BG/raid script-spawned creatures now show their correct weapons. Previously weaponless or partially-armed NPCs are correctly equipped.


Our thoughts and focus for the next release:
  • The team is continuously extremely motivated in delivering a blizzlike Mists of Pandaria experience, and we have a strong focus on this. Therefore, you can expect a bunch of updates across core and database. This will be anything between quests/leveling, dungeons and raids.

Hello, thank you so much for your work! :D But I have a question: what do you mean by "PvP bots gear based on player's highest arena rating"?

Does this mean that the higher our arena rating, the better the playerbots' gear?
 
Will this update wipe my DB again? Accounts and progress in particular? Last update did this, that was a pain in the .... Was unable to import a backup :(
