Question. So I've got v5 of the repack up and running now. Looks great so far. however my cataclysm client sais it's only 66 % complete. where does it download the rest of the content from? I've noticed some downloading content bars when loading into some zones. Just curious where it pulls the info from. Thanks in advance!

Hello there, thanks for the feedback. Glad it's up and working well.
Well, it downloads "live" from blizzard's page;

Check your wow.mfil:

version=2
server=akamai

First off love the repack great job. Keep up the good work. Worgen characters are being locked in combat in the starting area. Is this a code bug or is there something in a .conf file or the DB I can correct to stop this?
 
I have been trying to copy the SQL over to my main MySQL server so I don't have to have so many many windows open at once. The Auth server connects and has no problem but the world server says that the table ip2nationcountries doesn't exist even thought it is there. Is there something special that I have to do to copy this table or the emucoachworld database?
 
Got a question, i tried this repack and it looks great. but i cannot edit the db?
i pull it up in Navicat, connects ok. but only shows one DB Information_Scheme?

Edit never mind, i goofed imprting it as sqlite, and not MySQL.
i can now see/edit the tables lolz. But where is v5, as someone noted above?

V5 is for V.I.P for the moment ; Wait and it will be released for free. But the team is very busy in RL for the moment :) Patience !

EDIT : To play with this awesome repack; i suggest using WoD models in ; Wait to completely download your 4.3.4 client (or it will crash) ; and use this (Mega link and tuto are in thread) : WoD models in 4.3.4

I resume :

- Download 4.3.4 completely (100%)
- Put the new sound patch (include in archive) in your Data/Cache folder and overwrite :)
- Use the exe provided

Cant' test for the moment, my Cata client is'nt complete :)

Almost 100 pages of posts, around 145K views (on this forum) and the repack has had so much attention.
It's been a great journey since the start of this repack & forum, I clearly remember the start. It can be hard to keep up motivation in busy times, but as long as there's interest you can be sure it won't stop being worked on. I will try to get some time and focus on fixes this weekend and post updates and other useful releases.

;) No worries ! In the multitude of repacks is one of the best by far; Cata is a great extension :) and your work is excellent. (And these are not empty words, I have 4/5 repacks by extension and do a lot of tests).

When i wanted to install the server, after i started the worldserver it stopped and i was unable to logon the wow server.

In a folder you must have :

One named folder "_Server"
One named folder "Core"

In Core folder, you must put DBC,VMAPS,MAPS,MMAPS folders.

Start Apache and mysql ---> Don't forget to set your realmlist correctly (D:\---\---\WoW_4.3.4\Data\frFR (or enUS/enGB) realmlist --->

set realmlist 127.0.0.1
set patchlist localhost

In world window ".account create john pass" (without quotes) - Put what you want ; John, Bob, mike.....-
and ---> ".account set gmlevel john 3 -1" (without quotes)

If doesn't work, don't forget to install winSSL (provided in the core folder archive).

Hey guys I'm noob in private servers, I want to download it to beat Sunwell, BT, ICC, and Cata raids in solo. Are these raids working in this repack?
Are there any cheats that make u have a character that's level 500 and hits for gazillion damage? Thx.

The dungeons works :) Some bugs (scripts or mobs) but functional. In the core folder, you can adjust the monsters damages in the World.conf file (no need to be lv 500 :) ) : Text block looks like this :

Rate.Creature.Normal.SpellDamage = 1
Rate.Creature.Elite.Elite.SpellDamage = 1
Rate.Creature.Elite.RARE.SpellDamage = 1
Rate.Creature.Elite.RAREELITE.SpellDamage = 1
Rate.Creature.Elite.WORLDBOSS.SpellDamage = 1

Try different values ;) Maybe 0.5, 0.35...as you wish !

Have fun ! ;)

And don't forget ; You can add spells to your hero ; Like Druid - Rejuvenation (usefull on bosses) and many others :)

Hi

So I'm trying it out and in the starting location of blood elves all the mobs doesn't work it just says unkown and in the goblin location the mobs are missing

Hey ! :)

I did some tests :

Goblin zone :



Elves :



Firsts quests works well ; Can you post a screen ? If you have problems (to finish quests) you can try this :

Open the world window (you launched it before the game, from the core folder) and type in :

- Hit enter,
- Then : .account set gmlevel "your account name" (without quotes) 3 -1
- Hit enter.

Now in game, select your hero ;

- Open chat,
- Type ".quest complete" (without quotes),
- Shift clic on your quest (from quest log or follow list)
- Hit enter.

It's an easy way to finish bugged quests.

;) (don't forget to post screens, that helps a lot)
