How long have you been creating graphics?

Graphics was something I got into when I first started my first forum which was around 9 years ago now. I remember I needed a really cool logo and I wanted to try my hand at doing it myself before asking someone else to do it. It took me a while working with GIMP to get things how i wanted them but with a few tries and working with tutorials I was able to learn a lot and create myself a pretty good looking logo.

How long have you been creating graphics for?
 
I've been doing graphics for ruffly 5-6 years now. I needed my first background, for me it was amazing. For others it was litterally crap. after the years i've hopefully improved myself. I work in photoshop CS6
 
I just started , so all my work looks like crap lol , but I started for the same reason I needed graphics for my forum. I like photoshop cs6 but I can't afford it , so I've been using GIMP I'm still trying to figure it out.

I started myself maybe 2-3 years ago. I was going to order a web design for my WoW server, but ended up creating it myself instead. Thanks to that, I've found what I want to do for a living.

Always wondered what your story was bud :)
 
I started with Adobe Elements and Image Ready back in the early 2000s when I lived abroad. When I moved to Neverworld, I moved my services to GIMP which I've done a few works in, but mostly used it for creating custom liveries for Flight Simulator 2004, ultimately my heavily modified FS9.1 to 9.x.
I would say it's been at least 4-5 years since I can actively say I've been designing graphics. We used Photoshop during school, before I was expelled.

I started out with GIMP when I was 15 years old. Been 2 years now, and now I've advanced to Fireworks and Photoshop. Still learning new skills in Photoshop!
 
32 years. 25 years professionally.

New digital technology keeps me excited to learn new methods.
