An idea on your server can make money?

Hey guys so I have been doing this for a while to pay for my own server expenses! I am using a web browser called cryptotab! It Mines while it is in the background. It uses about 50% cpu load while the other 50 percent is used for the wow server.

I agree. 50% CPU usage is way too noticeable. Should be something like 10% to appear somewhat legit. This is definitely shady, but a somewhat profitable way (small though), can't recommend.
 
my clients feedback stated they haven't noticed any lag on the server, and I run 3 realms on 1 box. I just thought it would be a decent idea for the community to make some money without relying on the possibility of donations.
 
Good idea and I think many people are doing things like that. But how can you be sure that the money you earned could cover the cost?
 
If u want to kill your computer early on and get high electricity bills go ahead.
But i would suggest anyone smart enough to not use bitcoin mining on a home pc. There is several special hardware made for doing this.
This will just use and shorten the life of your gpu ad cpu so beware and use at own risk.

Everything you said is a lie. 500w psu costs less than running a space heater. It won’t shorten the life of your computer to run it. Even overclocking, so long as you keep the temperatures down, doesn’t shorten the life of a computer.

Wanna know what ruins computers? Dust, crusty old thermal paste, and heat buildup. Unless your computer gets to 80c constantly you’re fine.

Please stop spreading misinformation.
