From my experience, it only works with the UWOW client specifically, and any others give that error.

If you stand right next to them and use the “.gobject target” command, it will usually usually give you the ID. Occasionally it targets the wrong thing of there’s a lot of objects nearby, but it gives the name too so it’s usually possibly to tell if it looks like the name is for something else.

That's odd. I just completed this dungeon on heroic yesterday with no issues. I've had some times where the interaction channel does not start, but clicking the levers has seemed to be enough to count in those cases, as once I've interacted with both, the shield still drops.
