What's your favorite WoW expansion for reasons that are hard to explain?

I really love Legion, even though my first expansion was BC. I think I just really liked Illidan and the cinematics when I was a kid.

for me my favorite xpac was burning crusades, i played it during middle school.

My favorite expansion is Legion. Suramar, the Legendary Fishing Rod, the Mage Tower. Simply fantastic. They should have done much more with Suramar and the class halls.

I think my favorite was probably cataclysm, and mostly because I found it so cool that an expansion could have such an impact on the game world. Also thought Deathwing was cool.

Probably Wotlk, it had most of my first experiances with end game content, being a proper part of a guild and developing an interest in the WoW lore fully

Legion was great I enjoyed the story they created.
