Thanks! Yea sorry i meant the torrent links inside the drives are dead (no seeds/leechers) etc. i've tried changing the languages but it doesn't work since all that information is missing. Seems to be trending towards stuck on french one unless someone can find an english somewhere :L(

Are you looking for the mini client, or the full client? I eventually got the torrent for the full client to work.

what is in the bnetserver.conf should be aligned with what's in the realmlist table in the auth DB

localhost is mandatory for local play, but when playing online-if the server is hosted on a pc on the same network-use internal IP, if the host PC is on another network, then use External Ip or DNS to connect

at least this was the guide for Legion and DF, not sure if things were exactly the same for WoD Core 6.2.3
not sure but now I remember someone mocking it for being unable to play online but not quite sure if it was this repack or 6.2.3 WoW

glad you did, because I couldn't, but I found a solution

well, I download the mini client and let it stream in the background from Firestorm's cdn server, once it stops download, I zip and up it
I let the mini client complete itself in the background at the staggering 1-3 mbps from firestorm's cdn, if it weren't for that no public link for wod 6.2.3 in the world, thank God they still haven't taken down their cdn alongside their multiplayer gul'dan wod server

wod launches because the cdn is still up(as of now)
to launch wow.exe offline or without connection to fstorm's cdn, one needs to host versions and cdns files locally and modify the urls that point their adresses via a hex editor, for me I hosted them at 127.0.0.1/cdns and 127.0.0.1/versions and used xammp and put them in the htdocs folder of xammp, no coding skills required to do that and it's very easy and quick

Hi, I apologize because I can't help you with WMV,
this client is the only 6.2.3 I could find, a mini client that was allowed to complete itself in the background from Firestorm and is archived
It does not fix the issues, but i suspect, 1st-it was mini client, 2nd-it was modified by Firestorm hence the unique way to connect to a repack, 3rd the WMV itself could not be for WoD 6.2.3, messing with wow texture game files is not my cup of tea and never even cared/wanted to get into it

Hi, BFA Core Reforged was the latest, I remember some of them got the heart of azeroth working somewhat
I will be honest, I tested them on a surface level-boot up server, create account, make a char and enter world
Now I found another open source if you can compile it's called Haven Core;
