Running multiple WoW accounts? Here's how to avoid the "same IP" ban cascade.

If you're multi-boxing, running a small gold farm, or just managing a few alts on a private server, you already know the drill: one account gets flagged, and the next thing you know, the entire IP is toast. Doesn't matter if the other accounts were behaving.

The issue is simple. Most people run everything from one connection. The server's anti-cheat (or the admin's manual review) sees 5 accounts logging in from the same residential IP, and it's an easy link.

I've been using **1024Proxy** for this exact problem. They provide real residential IPs — not datacenter junk that gets flagged instantly. You can route each WoW client through a different IP, so the server sees them as separate users on separate connections.

What matters for WoW specifically:

- **SOCKS5 support** — works with Proxifier, ProxyCap, or SSTap to tunnel game traffic. WoW doesn't have native proxy settings, so you need a tool that does.
- **Static ISP options** — if you're keeping the same accounts logged in for long sessions, a fixed IP per account is what you want. Dynamic rotation is fine for short tasks, but for a main account you want consistency.
- **Low latency** — they have nodes in most major regions. Pick one close to your server's location and the ping is fine.

They have a free trial, so you can test it with your setup before committing. Link below if you want to check it out.

If you've found a different approach that works for multi-boxing, feel free to share. Always looking for better setups.
