In MoP version 8.0, we have a major theme:
1. Zone refactoring.
Beside the zone rework, the same months produced a long list of fixes across the whole server. The highlights (hold your horses, because it's large):
2. Stability and performance
3. Spells and class mechanics
4. Combat and creatures
5. Movement, pathfinding, vmaps and mmaps
6. Phasing
7. Vehicles
8. Quests
9. Loot and professions
10. NPC behavior and gossip
11. Battle pets
12. PvP and battlegrounds
13. Dungeon and Raids
14. World events and holidays.
15. World and travel
16. Quality of life
1 - Refactoring
The development and testing team have manually went through every single zone between level 1-85. Yes, you read right. Every zone on level 1-85. Manual work from both the development and testing folks. It has been a hard work, but we believe it has all been for the better. Because what it means is that all open-world content is now in a much better state; Previously, we acknowledge we had a lot of quest bugs, but in Version 8 we no longer have the same issues. According to our testers, the zones are on average expected to work at 97-99% blizzlike quality. That's a number we're very proud of. Try it for yourself and see what you think

- Potions, elixirs and other items no longer gain an unintended cast time.
- Knockback effects now travel the correct distance and direction for players and NPCs.
