aah, yes the arctium launcher run as admin and it hangs the game ,I've completely forgotten it does that-need to add it to the guide
 
is there any info on making the server "public" by that i mean just playing with a couple friends

as far as server settings go
auth db-realmlist, address-public IP, localaddress-internal IP of the hosting computer
bnetserver.conf-fill LoginREST.ExternalAddress and LoginREST.LocalAddress respectively, matching the IPs from the db
the client-those playing on the same network as you put as portal the local address, those who are on another network put the external IP or the DNS

ok so the ports included with the REST,bnet and worldserver are the ones that need to be forwarded? im used to the old repacks only needing 2 ports. and do you know if the portal is just the ip or ip : port

1119, 8081, 8085, 8086 are default ones
1119 is the default bnetserver port, if you change it then you need to put it as ip: port,

asking around a couple different platforms, im being told i need HTTPS certificate to allow external connections. do you know about anything like that?

it's true, Fabian's launcher requires a SSL certificate, and you can't turn this off, questions and support for the launcher - ask him on the Arctium discord
another part I had forgotten about the launcher and you reminded me of (again)

and as far as getting a certificate for TC goes-I don't know-I haven't done it, cuz Firestorm's Legion and DF wow.exe(s) work without Fabian's launcher and don't require certificate to connect

waiting for Firestorm to update to 11.2.7 to have a cdn and a full client download option, an .exe working without the launcher but it's not guaranteed as their wod and sl .exes only validate connections to the firestorm server; legion, bfa, df work

Extract the repack:
Extract the mini client in the full game client or simply extract it in its own folder and download as you play
Configure the client: Edit config.wtf in the wtf folder it should be Set portal "localhost". Use localhost as 127.0.0.1 won't work
Extract the Blizzard Entertainment folder to C:/Program Data and overwrite if prompted. Otherwise the game client won't be able to log you in(error 114)

Run the server:
Run MySQL.bat in the _server subfolder.
Run authserver.exe and then worldserver.exe in the main folder.

Run the game client:
Use WoW-64-Patched.exe, don't run the wow.exe given by Firestorm as that only works on Firestorm game servers

Account setup:
Default GM account: magicstorm@magicstorm / magicstorm.
Create new accounts using .account create username password. (username must contain the @ symbol otherwise the client will tell you to use a bnetaccount)

Some notes:
WoD 6.2.3 client is the only one that uses localhost as portal and requires the blizzard entertainment folder extraction
The WoD 6.2.3 core uses .account command to make an account despite the game client using battlenet account.
Worldserver console won't let you grant level 3 gm priveleges you have to that in the db.
To grant gm level 3 privileges, manually add a new row in the auth->account_access table in the database.
AshranCore, WoDCore and Harbringers are repacks which use the same map files and you may find very little difference if at all running them.

How to run:
Download the repack and all parts of the client and then extract them
Copy the dbc folder from the repack folder into the client folder and overwrite
Run Uwamp.exe (in the Uwamp subfolder). It automatically starts the database then run bnetserver and worldserver
Run the game client using start-64.bat(not the wow.exe-gives casc error)
gm account: admin@admin.com/admin, admin2@admin/admin

Notes:
The Core and the Repack are developed and maintained by a guy named Stitch who has his own website(AquaYoup), discord and GitHub page
You can get access to an up to date repack and get support. The repack is free. Register on AquaYoup and then join the AquaYoup discord
On the discord write a message in which you request access to the premade repack mentioning your website username.

Shadowlands (SL) 9.2.7.45745 repacks

Running the Repacks
WoWCreador, Rem999 and Kyrian Core you run normally-Start Database.bat, Bnetserver.exe, and Worldserver.exe.
DekkCore: (requires activation). To activate run dekkcore_activation_key.exe and then Dekkcore_key_repack.exe
it may trigger your antivirus as it's a crack/keygen.
DekkCore has a repack launcher to start database, bnetserver,exe and worldserver.exe

Running the game client.
WoWCircle and Firestorm's client executables won't let you login
You can get the full client from them but you have to put the executables from the mini clients provided by me
I added two mini clients which I modified. One uses Firestorm, the other uses WoWCircle to download the game
Extract either the Firestorm or WoWCircle mini client(which I gave) in the full game client or simply in their own folder and download as you play
Run using the Arctium Launcher during run it pauses to check for updates press any key to continue without updating
You can also try using the newest version of the launcher keep in mind at some point it might stop supporting SL.
!!!DO NOT run the Arctium Launcher as admin-the game hangs

Notes:
All 4 Repacks use the same map files found inside ClientData in the DekkCore Repack.
You shouldn't rename, move or delete folders.
You can but you have to open worldserver.conf and edit DataDir path in each repack

Client Setup:
Firestorm's Dragonflight client works mini or full. You don't need to use the Arctium Launcher
Simply change the portal setting to "127.0.0.1" in config.wtf.

Notes:
The 3 Repacks share the map files in the ClientData folder
You shouldn't rename, move or delete folders.
You can but you have to open worldserver.conf and edit DataDir path in each repack

hello,
dekkcore is the best of the worst repacks
but be warned-in certain areas and zones crashes-the client crashes not the worldserver and locks your character out and the area is unreachable-southern bastion
need to unstuck it via .unstuck on another character or move it via a coordinate edit in the character db-pos_x,pos_y,pos_z and map_id columns
duplicate spawns, unimplemented phasing and not handled opcodes and also overloaded packets cause the client to crash
kyrian core has the same type of crashes but even more-different names, same source; and there they fixed it by despawning some areas-but exile's reach, parts of revendreth crash; bastion-despawned
it is the only repacks running sl, I could find
