I have seen many messages that the program does not work.
It worked for me on my home PC, but it didn't want to work on my work laptop. At startup, the interface rebooted, but the buttons were not pressed.
I tried different versions of ovale but it didn't help.
I did the following:
Disabled UAC (Windows )
Disabled firewall
Downloaded all Visual C++ Redistributable Runtimes libraries ( You don't have to download each version separately, but can find everything in one file.
)
Launched the game in windowed mode, full screen, without borders.
And it worked!
The game itself has an ovalе setting where you can edit the code yourself, which is very convenient.
For example, by default, a Warlock will craft soul gems until he has 16. I didn't need that many gems, so I changed it to 5.
