Overview
- After a long development cycle, we are happy to announce the Changelog of the upcoming update release of the Mists of Pandaria Repack (v6).
- This release includes everything from core rewrites, playerbot upgrades, class and spell fixes, mechanic overhauls, and community-driven improvements — all designed to improve the experience.
- Our goal has been to ensure we have enough fixes living up to our expectations before we release a new version, hence the waiting time - until now.
- We’re also proud to introduce the brand-new Repack Updater & Repack Installer App:
- - Easy one click repack installation
- - Quick and flexible updates (no more re-download of repack files, nomanual effort in backing up accounts & characters).
- * With this App, it makes it possible for the Emucoach team to release smaller and faster repack updates — no more full downloads. With just a button click, your repack can now be updated in seconds.
- * The App also allows for repack management, license generation done smarter.
- Overall this will make managing your repack much simpler and more efficient. More information down below.
Playerbot System Updates
- ** Thanks to -- as always.
- Major core stability and logic fixes.
- Bots now spawn dynamically only when needed and are removed when not. This will increase performance on the server.
- Added a table to override Bot Gear ilvl.
- Moved bot dueling and city behavior logic into the database. This will allow the users to modify strategies for all MoP Dungeons, and most of Heart Of Fear and Mogushan Vault bosses. (modifiable per-strategy).
- Meaning the boss strategies across all MoP dungeons and major raids (e.g. Heart of Fear, Mogu’shan Vaults) can be extended.
- Open-world bot behavior improved significantly.
- Most zones now include pathing data (excluding the zones that require flying).
- Bot behavior system completely rewritten to support a new action table and condition tables.
- Reworked several bot specs with customizable behavior.
- Gossip menu added to manage bots via Gossip commands.
- Dodging system entirely rewritten for more improved behavior
- Major improvements to bot facing and positioning.
- Enhanced gear randomization for bots to mimic real players.
- Many general playerbot bugfixes
Class Fixes & Improvements
Mage
- Class Fixes & Improvements
- Add a safety net for ring of frost duration, shits might stay a while longer than it should for unknown reasons.
- Ignite: Apply ignite ICD also to procs between the 4500-6000ms window, and to the dot rolling event.
- Ignite: Further fixes to Ignite, prevent it being included in SPELL_ATTR10_CUMULATIVE_PERIODIC calculations, alongside other improvements
- Prevents inclusion of Ignite in SPELL_ATTR10_CUMULATIVE_PERIODIC.
- Flameglow now respects Battle Fatigue in arenas.
- Glyph of Illusion corrected.
Warlock
- Dark Simulacrum is now castable without facing target.
- Removed spell travel time from Void Shift.
- Felhunter's Spell Lock now works with Havoc as well.
- Removing metamorphosis should not remove aura of the elements.
Paladin
- Hammer of Wrath can no longer be deflected by Die by the Sword or similar.
- Repentance now correctly lasts 8 seconds in PvP.
- Hand of Freedom can now be used while sapped or asleep.
- Hand of Freedom no longer removes Sap/Sleep when it shouldn't.
Druid
- Using PvP Trinket in Solar Beam should only remove the Solar Beam debuff for a split second.
- Barkskin / Ironbark should not be cast-able while is nature locked.
- Starsurge is no longer cast-able while nature or arcane locked.
Priest
- Glyph of Psychic Scream fixed.
- Disperse can now be cast while silenced but not while shadow-locked.
- Mind spike shouldn't be locked when shadow locked.
- Prayer of Mending now triggers healing procs.
Hunter
- Hunter trap activation logic is improved - it will now prioritize players over other units.
- Kill Command charge and damage component will now ignore LoS, just like the base spell the client uses to check cast possibility.
Monk
- Fixed Diffuse Magic spell logic.
- Glyph of Zen Flight fixed.
Warrior
- Unbridled Wrath now properly procs from root and stun spells that deal no damage.
- Charge should not be stopped when getting stunned / rooted, only disorients should stop it
Spell System & Core Mechanics
- Dont allow spells with SPELL_AURA_CAST_WHILE_WALKING2 and SPELL_AURA_CAST_WHILE_WALKING to be queue, as these spells can be cast between other spells.
- Fix an issue with spell queue where the player would still might be able to queue for a cast even tho he was previously interrupted on that school.
- Fixed an issue with spell effects being removed from spelleffect mask due to effect target LoS calculation mistake, its pointless to check for LoS twice with instant-cast spells that are not ground targeted and are not AoE, this check is already done in cast event.Base haste now properly stacks with aura mods, except for MOD_CASTING_SPEED_NOT_STACK.
- CC diminishing return timers in PvP increased from 15s to 18s as per blizzlike.
- Numerous SPELL_ATTR10_CUMULATIVE_PERIODIC bugs resolved.
- AI behavior improvements for uncontrollable pets (e.g. avoids unnecessary CCs on targets).
- Knockback mechanics now smarter; removed unnecessary pathfinding on knockbacks.
- Fixed crash when despawning aura'd creatures.
- Improved localization: non-English character names (e.g., Chinese) now supported.
Miscellaneous & Custom Features
- Herbalism added to profession trainer NPCs.
- Reworked Arena: players can now leave while in combat.
- Arena reward configs added.
- Ticket system fixed.
- Default battle passive is now 60% as per blizzlike.
- SPELL_ATTR4_NOT_STEALABLE override logic added—these spells now stealable/purgeable by spellsteal:
- Ancestral Swiftness (Shaman)
- Nature’s Swiftness (Druid)
- Predatory Swiftness (Druid)
- Alter Time (Mage)
- Ghost Wolf (Shaman)
- Earth Shield (Shaman)
- Mend Pet (Hunter)
- Incanter’s Ward (Mage)
- Custom: Prevent spectating of arena games while in queue.
- Removed over 700 lines of DBErrors to drastically improve loading speed upon start up.

Repack App
- The Emucoach team has worked hard in building a new App. An app where you login to your Emucoach account. Then you can install the repack cleanly by one button click. The install and setup happens behind the scene. You can update your repack version (e.g. from MoP VIP v5 to MoP VIP v6) via one button click - without manual effort in backing up characters and accounts. You can use the App as a repack manager via a Start/Stop button. You can generate and manage your repack licenses more smoothly there, change it to your preferred language, and more! Some examples down below:
- Note: We are also working on Repack profiles - meaning: with one click you can customize the style of the server; e.g. switch from blizzlike-style to funserver-style via one-click [More info to come soon].

- Stolen Supplies - Not Lootable had an interact (did nothing, but was clickable). Fixed it to be uninteractable.
- Fixed Suspicious Snow Piles were not turning into Mischievous Snow Sprites on aggroing like they're supposed to.
- Comin' Round the Mountain wasn't giving completion. It's core scripted so it was somewhat awkward to fix, but I got it give credit by attaching it to the quest giver who isn't on a core script.
- Fixed General Sho Lien and his pets stats based on a video and numbers from original MoP, and gave General Sho Lien his weapon.
- Fixed the Legacy of Korune being a hostile creature that attacks players.
- Fixed Zandalari Shadow Hunters missing their weapons and added a missing spawn of it into the world.
- Fixed "It Was Almost Alive" having being setup as the wrong type of quest which made it incompleteable.
- Fixed Nakk'rakas missing his weapon.
- Conditioned some level 90 mobs from the Dominance Offensive questline to be phased and not appear while leveling through the zone.
- Fixed some phasing in Zouchin Village. This was primarily causing the quest "Revelations" not not have a turn-in since the intended version of Lorewalker Cho was not in your phase after completion.
- Fixed phasing on Mishi for Prophet Khar'zul, the correct phase will now be active while on the quest, and she is now in a separate phase from the one active for Make a Fighter Out of Me so she won't be appearing erroneously while on that quest.
- Fixed the scripting on Prophet Khar'zul to be as close to Blizzlike as I could get it. I couldn't figure out how to get the shadow fog mechanic to properly not do damage if you get onto an elevated surface.
- Fixed Mishi's taxi back to Zouchin Village after completing Prophet Khar'zul.
- There were only two Waterfall-Polished Stones, added the missing third.
- Fixed phasing on Bo the Wind Claimer (Zouchin Village flight master). He was missing after finishing the questline and possibly at other points in the phasing when he should be present.
- Fixed one of the Vale of Eternal Blossoms doors not being open despite doing the questline to open the Vale.
- Fixed the Vale of Eternal Blossoms portal to Stormwind being the Shattrath Portal to Stormwind.
- Fixed Wing Nga to actually function as a flightmaster properly. Also gave her the actual dialogue she's meant to have instead of the default Greetings, [name].
- Deleted a duplicate Leechfingers. Fixed the one that's left to not wander.
- Fixed Wu-Peng's phasing so he won't appear next to his father until after you do the quests to rescue him.
- Deleted duplicate copies of Orachi
- A bunch of various fixes in Kun-Lai, mostly quest requirement and phasing related issues.
- Fixed Steppebeasts not giving credit for Running Rampant
- Fixed Arconiss not awarding credit. Removed the quest from Broken_quests since it can be completed now.
- Fixed the Rings of Fire in the Xin the Weaponmaster encounter having a visible infernal that flies around.
- Made some fixes to Theramore's Fall scenario, mostly a lot of mobs missing their weapons, a mob that was friendly when it shouldn't be, and linking a couple sound entries to Jaina's voice lines.
- Fixed some quest requirements in Townlong Steppes
- Fixed some very overtuned damage numbers in the Assault on Zan'Vess Scenario to be more blizz-based.
- Give Voress'thalik for Devastation Below the CREATURE_FLAG_EXTRA_NO_PLAYER_DAMAGE_REQ flag so it gives credit for the kill since it starts at low health.
- Fixed Lith'ik the Stalker not having weapons.
- CREATURE_FLAG_EXTRA_NO_PLAYER_DAMAGE_REQ flag added to Sha of Hatred as well. You fight it alongside other NPCs so if they do to much of the damage you wouldn't get credit.

- factionID is updated, the player was attacked by hundreds of npc at the time of the mission, with this change the player will not be affected.

- 2 NPC's damage were adjusted: 35881 and 35880 because they had a damage multiplier of 80% causing them to delete the player and they could not complete the mission, the multiplier added is a subjective value because I did not find information to set the correct damage
- Fixed the quest POI of Goblin Quest: Rolling with my Homies - now the map will properly display where the targets are.
- Spirit of the North now is tameable to hunters
- Added missing item for some thunder island rares: this is the book for the warlock green fire.
