Can't connect to authserver

Hi,

I have installed "Release - 4 - Free - Deathwing's Madness" repack and every components are running fine (cmd windows show no error) but i can't connect with the wow client need_to_434 (found in this forum).

The client log shows
LOGIN_STATE_CONNECTING result : LOGIN_OK
LOGIN_STATE_FAILED result : LOGIN_SERVER_DOWN
LOGIN_STATE_FAILED result : LOGIN_FAILED

I have change the realmlist.wtf files to use 127.0.0.1

I tried to change the WoW.mfil file also, but any changeto this file corrupt the launcher and the client doesn't anymore
I tried another wow client from the ultimate classic bundle, same error. I didn't expect it to work, but just tried to get another error message than "authserver down"

any help will be greatly appreciated :)

Hi,

I tried another repack, The Ultimate Classic Bundle and I get the same error : The auth server is down.

I am running win 7 64bits; could this be the problem ?

I have checked the port number and they are not used by other softwares

Are you running the server AND WoW client on the same machine? You should have a black command prompt window that stays open to show that the auth server is up. Some screenshots of your setup would be helpful too.

Yes, I am running the client on the same host. I have 4 cmd windows (apache, mysql, authserver and worldserver). all seems to be running fine. No error
here is the screen for the authserver.

Is the WoW client set to 127.0.0.1 in the config file located in the WTF folder and the Data folder?
 
Hi

I change to another repack ([NEW] X-TREME MISTS OF PANDARIA REPACK!) and this one works perfectly. So in case of strange behaviour, it could be something to try.
I also managed to give access to my entire private network.
