WOW Legends v1.7.0 is out — and v1.6.0 "Talk to your bots" is now FREE, with the complete server source

Big day for the repack again. Two releases, one download page — and almost every line below started as a suggestion or a bug report from someone in this community. I just built the list.

Free for everyone today: v1.6.0 + full source

• Talk to your bots. Say "lfg" in a city and the bots that fit your group whisper back with their class, spec and level. Inside a dungeon, "start pulling", "pause", "skip this boss" in party chat drive the Dungeon Clear tank. No addon, no command — just talk (each is one config switch away).
• Warband Camp staff — a banker, a merchant, a barkeep and guards at your own fire. And Frostmind, the Archivist is hidden somewhere in Azeroth. Find him and he sits by your fire.
• A cleaned database: the epic-geared bots and the leftover auctions are gone from the free download.
• WOW_Legends_Server_Source.zip ships right next to the repack. Core (GPLv2) and modules (AGPLv3) — build it, patch it, make it yours.

v1.7.0 — live for supporters now

• $lfg builds your group for you. Type $lfg 5 (or 10, 20, 25, 40) in any chat. The server picks bots of your level from anywhere in the world, fills only the roles you're still missing, gears them for their spec and teleports them to you. Add a dungeon — $lfg 5 utgarde keep — and they wait for you at the entrance. Thanks to Micha and Jordan, whose questions showed the old lfg was too hard to use.
• Cross-faction playerbots (opt-in). Take Horde bots along as Alliance, or the other way round — heals, buffs, follow and resurrection all work. Suggested by StretchtGorilla.
• Account-bound professions (opt-in). An alt with a profession catches up with your best character in it — rank, skill and recipes. The two-profession limit stays and bonuses never stack. Suggested by Nuclear Pasta, no-stacking rule from StretchtGorilla.
• A full PvP set in one command: .gear pvp puts on the Gladiator's set for your class and spec, with PvP gems and enchants — any season from Savage to Wrathful. Prompted by Soezz.
• A steward for your Warband Camp — repairs, a mailbox, a cure for resurrection sickness and "reset my dungeons" (suggested by bengeldirk) — plus .camp rotate to turn your props (suggested by StretchtGorilla).
• Optional Death Knight starting-zone skip: .dkskip — level 58, Runeforging, your Deathcharger and Death Gate, straight to Stormwind or Orgrimmar. Suggested by Jordan.
• Jewelcrafting trainers in Stormwind, Ironforge, Darnassus, Orgrimmar, Thunder Bluff and Undercity. Suggested by StretchtGorilla.
• Fixed: bots that hit far too hard in battlegrounds, an auction house bot that bought nothing, AoE loot, .camp go landing you on bare ground, Brewfest's "Save Brewfest!", Utgarde Keep's forge fires (Pianoman, tested by Micha), Dungeon Clear lines in German (Pianoman) and more.

Supporters: App v0.1.27 is out too, with Realm Tuning switches for all the new options.

New in the player portal: a live World Map

Every online character on the four continent maps — real players in gold, bots in blue. Crowded bots cluster and split as you zoom, hover for details, click through to the Armory, and share a link to any view. Warband Camps and running Faction Battlefronts show up on it too. With repack v1.7.0 and its live-map feed switched on, it moves live.

The portal also got registration modes — open, invite-only or closed (thanks Nuclear Pasta).
