Did everything you stated and it all looked right, but at the last step, when I press Submit, it gives me this message:

No, this is not patched.
Try again, sometimes it bugs up, because too many uses it I think - just try like again after a few hours.
 
I assume this method is outdated and patched from Spotify support service?

I will see what I can do in that case, if that's being confirmed.
 
This method was patched a while ago they now check to see if the card works by charging 1 doller or 1 pound
