Hi,

In the worldserver conf file for the Auction House there is this configuration: AuctionHouseBot.DisabledItems = " "

While not wanting to remove certain items from the database I would like to make them unavailable to the AH (QA Test equipment for example)
However this is quite an extensive list and it seems if I go over a certain total of entries the worldserver doesn't start (no error it just closes immediately)

Has anyone encountered this problem or has a work around?
I could just extract (backup) and remove the items from the DB, but I'd prefer to keep things as standard as possible in the DB.

For example this is my first list of items to be disabled in the AH. The world server won't run unless I reduce the total by two-thirds approximately.

Probably the best way to avoid this problem is to make those items unavailable to everyone.
You could try to change flag and make the item deprecated or just raise up the required level to 86.

e.g. UPDATE item_template SET RequiredLevel=86 WHERE name like '%QA Test%'

I used the attached sql file to change the RequiredLevel field to 100 in all the TEST items and then I changed in the worldserver. file the AuctionHouseBot.DisableItemsAboveReqLevel = 99 . So that the seller can no longer sell the test pieces.
By changing the level of use to 100, those who have taken these pieces having a maximum level of 85 will not be able to use them anyway.

I had done the following (not finished all yet) to put all QA Test and other such gear at 255.
However I hadn't noticed that the AH setting. Really good idea! Thanks!
