Seriously, why does this genre even exist in such a dull form? So, in 2005-2010, were millions of players actually interested in farming kobolds most of the time? Getting a nugget of lore and one plot molecule every 200 quests? The tedious task of running/flying/riding from point A to point B in a couple of minutes to turn in a quest? I understand there are advantages, but why hasn't the community banned the developers and banned them from making games for the aforementioned disadvantages? I just don't understand. Apparently, people were less demanding of games back then, which is why this genre became popular in the first place.
