Diploma: Is It Still Worth Pursuing?

Hello everyone.

I’m considering pursuing a diploma to improve my qualifications and career opportunities, but I’m unsure whether it is the right choice. For those who have completed a diploma, how useful was it in helping you find a job, increase your salary, or advance in your career?

I’m also interested in knowing whether employers value diplomas as much as degrees in today’s job market.

Would you recommend choosing a diploma based on a specific career field, or is it better to pursue a general diploma?

Depends on what you are interested in doing. For my niece that wanted to be work in forensics it was a requirement but the amount of college debt her degree required her assuming ( and she just got a Masters Degree ) is still being paid off 8 years later. She is now making a little over 70k/year though after a promotion so the financial situation is looking better and she believes she does important work and so believes it was worth it. Have a plan but during first year of college when taking prereqs sample some stuff that you find interesting and you might find your perfect career but a preplan going in is important.
