Willing to help out for free... I've been working on this stuff since 2009 and 3.3.5 is my favorite that I am most knowledgeable of with experience with alpha 0.53, 1.12.1, 2.3.0, 2.4.3, 3.3.5, 4.3.4, and 5.4.8. I ran a sandboxed 3.3.5 based on Smart Ass Childs Repack (TrinityCore) from 2010 that I made corrections for missing and wrong content within the database as for I didn't have the source code to correct the code. The biggest issue with that build is a frame rate lag in Northrend when landing in Dalaran from flight point, and frame rate turns to as bad as 10-15 fps, and if you log off and back on its corrected for 60fps. Oddly task manager doesn't show any unusual Memory, CPU, or GPU use to point the finger at the exact problem. Tried various computers with various video cards / drivers and its an odd bug when arriving in Dalaran and then logging off and back into the client corrects for it. I have over 30 computers in my collection with more than 20 of them able to run wow and so if needing to try different video cards or hardware combinations between Geforce 6200 all the way to Gefore 1050 Ti with various GS, GT, and GTX cards of different series in between I can do that, as well as I have Radeon Cards from old 1300 to the many HD series GPUs to a newer RX 580

Question I have is, is this able to be shared the source code for me to run it locally to run the game and have access to the server side too- or- would I need to connect to your server hosting it with the server side off limits? I prefer hosting it myself offline and being able to play the game and when issues able to chase them into the server side as an admin of the server vs connect to an offsite server as a user if that is what your looking for.

Hi! First off, thank you for your willingness to help and for sharing your impressive background — it's clear you have a lot of experience and passion for this version of the game.

Regarding your question: for this particular project, the server-side is hosted by us, and we don’t share the full source or allow local self-hosting. So if you're interested in getting involved, it would need to be by connecting to our server environment.

We truly appreciate your interest and would be glad to collaborate within those parameters. Let us know if that still works for you!
