Hi there,

before every major patch in the game or another expansion, Blizzard launched some sort of event before they actually implemented new content. I was thinking about launching one or more of those, for. e.g. Ahn'Quiraj Gates Opening.

Is it possible?

Well, let's stick with AQ Gates event for now. It was like this that a HUUUUUGE group of ppl would gather at Silithus and bang the gong to open the gates - there were a lot of mobs which normally would sit inside of AQ and after defeating many waves of them you could finally enter the raid. And you got a title and a mount.

Aha I see, but to answer your question - yeah it's indeed possible to script something as this.
