This is going to solve the exact problem I am facing. Thanks Man!

On another note: I'm guessing this uses Twinstar (Apollo-WoW) CDN?

If so, Is there a way that someone could start his own CDN and stream files that way? Because what if Apollo just shuts down (or lock streaming to their own client?)

Even better, start an open-source CDN!

A guide for this would be amazing.

P.S: I'm new here and I'm absolutely loving this forum so far!

Welcome in that case!

Yeah, the method uses Twinstar's CDN, as they have put it available.
But you're right, and I get your point. It would be prefer-able to have a more neutral location. But it's important to note that Blizzard might attempt to file a copyright infrightment, if the server gets popular and "open-source".
Keep in mind that full clients are still available without this issue.

I'll think about it though, and get back to it in a couple of weeks. :)

I noticed the issue a couple of days ago when someone was trying to connect with the streaming client.
I guess I have to provide them with a new mini client :)
